ReUse at FULL-MAP Workshop on Cross-Project Synergies for Next-Generation Batteries

The ReUse project was proud to be invited to the FULL-MAP Workshop: Cross-Project Synergies for Next-Generation Batteries, which took place online on 9 October 2025 from 14:00 to 17:30 (CET).

This workshop brought together 11 pioneering EU-funded initiativesFULL-MAP, ULTRABAT, SAFELOOP, SAGELi, BATTwin, SALAMANDER, INERRANT, PHOENIX, ReUse, BATMASS, and OPINCHARGE – to share progress, strengthen synergies, and identify pathways toward a sustainable, circular, and digital European battery ecosystem.

Representing ReUse, Andreas Bittner from CellCircle spoke during Session 3 – Manufacturing, Digitalisation & Circularity, highlighting the project’s ongoing work to create scalable solutions for the recycling and reuse of lithium-ion batteries.

To accommodate the growing participation and diversity of topics, the workshop ran for 3.5 hours and featured three thematic sessions, exploring different stages of the battery value chain, from materials and manufacturing to sustainability and end-of-life strategies.

The event was organised as part of the Sustainable Places 2025 (SP25) and is open to the broader research and innovation community. Thanks to a Workshop Boost SP2025 ticket purchased by our friends at R2M, participants could join the event online free of charge and gain full access to the sessions.

SP25 is a leading European conference that brings together research, industry, and policy stakeholders to advance sustainable design, construction, and renovation of buildings, districts, and cities, serving as a key platform for showcasing EU-funded innovation and promoting collaboration toward climate and energy goals. This year’s edition is taking place on 8–10 October 2025 in Milan.

Thank you to all Europe’s leading battery projects for working together to accelerate the transition toward a circular, digital, and sustainable battery industry.
