REVITALISE Final Seminar: Sharing Project Outcomes for Battery Sustainability

The ReUse sister project Revitalise will host its final dissemination seminar, focused on “Loop complete: Greener Battery Recycling, and what it takes to deliver it together.” on 19 October 2026 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway and online via Zoom.

Running from 12:30 to 15:45 CEST, the seminar will be split into two sections bordered by a networking lunch and a coffee break.

2) Panel Discussion

1) Project results

Revitalise project partners, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the University of Birmingham, Verkor and Eurecat - Technology Centre, will share their knowledge on the complete battery recycling workflow, spanning green hydrometallurgy, direct recycling, industrial testing, life cycle assessment (LCA) and techno-economic analysis. Finished with a joint Q&A.

The discussion panel with partners, researchers and industry representatives will allow the exchange of experiences, knowledge and key insights on improving continuity and knowledge transfer across EU projects, supporting continuous effort to achieve a sustainable closed-loop approach to battery life-cycles.

If you don’t want to miss the chance to learn more about the project’s outcomes and key findings over the 3-year lifespan, you can register for the seminar until Monday, 12 October.

Project results can provide valuable lessons for the next generation of research and innovation. If your work or interests involve battery recycling, battery materials or EU project collaboration, this seminar is a chance to connect, learn and exchange ideas.
