European battery research and innovation remains fragmented across projects, initiatives and stakeholders, creating a need for stronger coordination and knowledge exchange across the ecosystem.
BATT-BRIDGE addresses this challenge by bringing together research, industry, policy, projects and data within the Batt4EU Partnership.
As a Horizon Europe coordination project, BATT-BRIDGE builds on the legacy of Battery2030+ to improve the visibility, alignment and impact of battery R&I efforts across Europe. By coordinating activities with key initiatives such as BEPA, EBA250, NRCG and IPCEIs, as well as international partners, the project aims to strengthen alignment between national, European and global battery agendas.
BATT-BRIDGE will also provide up-to-date monitoring of the European and global battery R&I landscape, helping stakeholders access relevant information and supporting more informed decision-making. To ensure that these activities continue beyond the project lifetime, it will develop and validate a sustainable governance and business model for its platform.
